The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR however, as other models do, to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best hybrid robot vacuum and mop-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can remove pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only downside is that it lacks a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving forward.

What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, which means you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by silver elements and mirror plating. the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
